Get in Touch!
Give us a call and set up a time where we can talk about your project, timeline, constraints, and other details. We also need to be sure of your preferred form of communication, whether it be text, email, or via phone. Lastly, we will set up a time to meet in person.
First Meeting in Person
During the first meeting we aim to gain a better understanding of your project, constraints, concerns, expected outcomes, timelines, and most importantly, design options. This meeting also allows us to provide a high-level overview of our background, our company, and how the process works.
3D Design Renderings
We offer 3D design rendering services that will help you visualize what your space could look like and show different design options. This will also help determine design colors, placement of furniture or tv’s etc.
Estimate & Contract
Once the design is finalized, we provide an estimate and contract to be signed. The contract identifies the anticipated timeline for the project and on most projects a deposit is required at the time of contract signing. A contract is necessary to pull permits so no work can start until a contract is signed.
Material Ordering
Once the contract is finalized, the permits are pulled, and material ordered. We prefer not to begin any project until all materials are on-sight. This prevents schedule delays and other issues with the project.
Demolition
To prepare for the new design, demolition is required to remove floors, walls, and anything that might be unwanted.
Rough-In
Once materials are secured, work is initiated. The site is prepared and demolition is started. This is followed by framing, plumbing, electrical and HVAC as necessary.
Inspections
Inspectors typically come 2-3 times during a renovation. We have inspectors come to inspect plumbing, electrical, HVAC and building. Each trade and permit has its own inspector and they typically will not come on the same day. We always have one of our subcontractors or ourselves present on the property to meet the inspectors. To note, there is typically no time specified for the inspections, it is just on a specific day between 8 AM - 4 PM.
Code Remediation, if Needed
If something is not correct, the inspector will issue a code violation. We will promptly repair the violation and reschedule the inspection. This can create a bit of a schedule slip depending on the violation.
Finishing the Space
Once rough inspections pass, we will finish getting the space together. This includes putting up drywall, interior trim, paint, and put in floors. The plumbing and electrical will also be completed during this step. Once completed, the final inspections occur.
Project Complete
The job is completed at final inspection approvals and the balance is collected. After a project is completed, we follow up with customers periodically to ensure that the work is still satisfactory and continues to meet expectations.
